LOGOS MUSEUM

The Logos Museum hosts an exhibition of thousands of moving statues that recount 2,500 years of history, with the most significant moments in the life of Jesus presented across 27 rooms. It is the largest museum in the world by number of statues, having already won the first stage of the Guinness World Record process and now awaiting official confirmation of the world title.

Conceived by Stefania Capobianco as a circular journey, the exhibition begins in ancient Rome, 500 years before the birth of Jesus Christ, before moving on to Jerusalem. Alongside scenes typical of the traditional Nativity, it recounts moments from the life of Jesus through unique statues and evocative scenic installations.

The journey passes through some of the most significant scenes: the child Jesus in his father Joseph’s workshop, the resurrection of Lazarus, the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan, the temptations in the desert, the preaching on the Mount of Olives, the encounter with the Samaritan woman, Leonardo’s Last Supper, Judas’s kiss, the arrest under Pontius Pilate, the Way of the Cross, the Holy Sepulchre, the Ascension of Jesus and Pentecost, culminating in a reproduction of St. Peter’s Basilica featuring a statue of Pope Francis.

Stefania Capobianco embarked on this entrepreneurial and artistic venture with the aim of contributing to the world of art and culture, creating an immersive experience capable of engaging visitors in a unique journey. The goal is to transport visitors back to a distant era, allowing them to relive everyday life and traditions of the past, from wine and grain production to ancient crafts that have now disappeared.

The museum explores scenes from the life of Jesus through an installation enriched by carefully designed photography and music, much of which pays tribute to Zeffirelli’s film “Jesus of Nazareth”. The many historical references, the result of meticulous research into the period, turn the exhibition into a true journey through 2,500 years of history.

Stefania Capobianco has thus brought together tradition, art and spectacle, creating a permanent exhibition that is unique for the number of statues, its handmade scenic sets and the themes explored through art.
